Ingredients

- firmly packed brown sugar

- 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon

- 1/4 tsp
- ground nutmeg
- 1 mL
- pinch each cloves and pepper
- 4 cups
- brewed coffee, such as Compliments Vanilla Hazelnut 100% Arabica Beans
- 1 L
- 1/4 cup
- 35% whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
- 60 mL
- 2 tbsp
- finely chopped toasted hazelnuts
- 30 mL
Directions
Step 1
Combine milk, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and pepper in medium saucepan set over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring often, 3 to 5 min. until steaming. Whisk with frother or hand blender until frothy.
Step 2
Divide hot coffee among 6 large mugs. Pour frothy milk over coffee. Top with dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with hazelnuts.
